BABY Fashion – is the only special purpose exhibition of child’s vogue in Ukraine.

The exhibition is held twice a year, seasonally:

• 20-23 March 2012 in the framework of the Forum of goods and services for children BABY EXPO
• 10-12 September 2012 as an independent campaign

Traditionally, Тrade Mark Defile of children's clothing is held witihin the framework of the Forum, in Spring.

The notion “child’s vogue” appeared in domestic light industry with the advent of BABY Fashion exhibition. BABY Fashion became the first exhibition that offered not only clothes for children but presented new styles, directions and tendencies in child’s vogue.

Clothes and footwear for children of all ages – from newborns to teenagers, and for different purposes – for active rest, school uniform, festive attire and carnival costumes are presented on the exhibition. The assortment includes linen, hosiery, knitted wear, accessories, bijouterie and special cosmetics for children.

This exhibition is a B2B event, intended for manufacturers, distributors, retailers, buyers, representatives of shops and retail outlets from  all over Ukraine and abroad.

At the same time, BABY Fashion is always of great interest not only for business audience, but also for consumers, particularly in the current economic situation. Each year, trade pavilion for retailers is set up at the exhibition. Range of goods is very diverse. Here one can find clothing for every taste, for every occasion and every purse, which always attracts young parents. In general, these are goods, produced by domestic manufacturers. They are of excellent quality and are sold at a reasonable price that makes them very popular among customers.

BABY Fashion - is the largest international level exhibition in Ukraine of children's fashion, which is focused, first of all, on the representatives of wholesale and retail trade. BABY Fashion presents not only clothes for children, and new styles, but also trends and tendencies in children's fashion. The event is held twice a year: in Spring – within the framework of the Forum of goods and services for children BABY Expo, and in Autumn as an independent event. This year, in Spring, BABY Fashion, as a constituent part of the Forum BABY Expo, has become a member of the International Exhibition Association UFI. That is the proof of a high professional level of event organization.

Main aim of the exhibition is to promote the development of domestic market of children's clothing. BABY Fashion is an opportunity for Ukrainian and foreign producers to demonstrate their products, find partners and to explore consumer demand. At the same time, buyers and retailers can orientate themselves in the fashion trends and form assortment for the upcoming season.

Each year, the exhibition shows the positive dynamics of development. Thus, the total area of BABY Fashion 'Fall 2011 exceeded the previous year by 17% and comprised 4300 square meters. The main pavilion of the exhibition center "ACCO International" could not accommodate all interested participants, so the exposition was also located in the additional pavilion. For end buyer worked the traditional open area marketplace, where he could buy things at retail.

Also, the number of participants, including foreign companies increased greatly. More than 130 exhibitors from the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and other countries presented products and trademarks at BABY Fashion 'Fall 2011. Most of them were permanent exhibition participants, however, there were newcomers. Bimbo Italia consortium, that participated for the first time, exhibited children's clothing brands: Le Guignol, Monnalisa, Mama noel, Jolie Maman, as well as a new fashion collection, designed especially for pregnant women by Italian designer Pietro Brunelli. Wearing clothes under TM Pietro Brunelli, one can look sexy, elegant and feminine even during these difficult 9 months. Collection of clothing for expectant mothers was also demonstrate the other new exhibitor - Maj'ore company from Romania. Russian company "Hermes" presented well-known brands of children's clothing, as well as a collection of carnival costumes under TM "Batik" (Russia).

The forthcoming exhibition offerws mainly clothing for Autumn-Winter season: children's jackets, warm clothes and overalls, fur products, knitwear, hats, shoes, accessories and other items of clothing for children. Also, one could find here wide assortment of elegant clothes. High quality, safety, application of natural materials and modern technology, practicalness, in the combination  with fashion trends of the season 2011/2012 were the main characteristic features of the demonstrated production. That made it popular among end consumers.  

Taking into consideration the fact, that the BABY Fashion exhibition is highly popular among business audience, the exhibition program included other business activities for trade specialists. Seminar "Franchising as a successful way of doing business" helped understand the peculiarities of business franchise. Seminar-answer “Baby Fashion. Visual merchandising in children's clothing and footwear stores" helped shop owners make their store more attractive to buyers and increase its profitability.

BABY Fashion - is a new impetus for the development of international partnerships and investment activity that promotes new ideas for the further creative perfection.

Olga Balashova debuted with the collection of children's clothing demonstrated within the framework of "Ukrainian Fashion Week" Trade Mark Defile in 2008. The collection was commercially successful.

There is not enough beautiful children's clothing made of natural fabrics in the country and parents choose between the expensive boutique brands and Chinese consumer goods. Olga wanted to create stylish, elegant and most importantly - natural clothing for children.

This year, Olga Balashova has prepared another gift for her clients. Salt of the new Spring / Summer collection, demonstrated at BABY FASHION, became flower colors and patterns. Designer planned to turn girls into flower buds. Dresses, coats and jackets, manufactured by Olga Balashova will turn girls into ladies and boys – into true gentleman.

Collection Spring-Summer 2011 consists of warm, cozy coats and berets made of top quality natural wool; warm suits and sundresses; bright summer dresses and sundresses, made of natural gauze, cotton and flax.
And, of course, magnificent and elegant dresses that, undoubtedly, remain the salt of designer’s each collection.
The new collection includes only saturated colors. Color of grass and deep blue sky - coats, bright wine red and red tints - dresses, pale pink and bright yellow - sundresses.

High quality textiles, used by Olga Balashova’s FH, are manufactured in Italy, France and Germany. The main distinguishing feature of this designer’s collections is exclusiveness (not more than three variants of the same model are made) and individual approach to each client (creation of individual patterns, because children with the same height have different corpulence).

Sophie Maria Sedova

Sophie Maria Sedova will present a new Fall-Winter 2012 collection -"Indigo" at the exhibition BABY Fashion '2011 (held in Kiev). The collection includes more than 50 models of clothes for girls and boys: casual clothing and outfits for special occasions, elegant coats and short coats, decorated with silk embroidery.

"Beauty" - is the word that most accurately describes the style of this collection. Refinement, unchildlike elegance, sophistication ... Even small details are thoroughly and meticulously thought out - no items were left without designer’s attention. Unusual and complex shapes, harmonious colors. The entire collection is kept in the palette: graffiti, sophisticated pink and blue and even black and white. "Indigo" does not seek simple solutions. Combination of very different textures of fabrics, tender cashmere, wool with Teflon coating.

Another unique fabric, used in the collection, is the so-called "pseudo-silk", which is actually a 100% cotton, that has passed an extremely difficult treatment. By characteristics (weight and ability to drapery) this fabric resembles silk; but it is very soft, comfortable and natural cotton. All materials are exclusive and are ordered from the manufacturing plant of elite fabrics situated  in the United Arab Emirates.

The main accent of the show - the luxurious final dress under the name "Dream." "Why" Dream "?" – because all little fashionista dream of having such a dress.

Sophie Maria Sedova started to draw clothes’ sketches at the age of 3.5 years. In 2009, she took part in “Miss Zhemchuzhina Zapada” (Miss Pearl of the West) contest, where she presented her first collection “Dolls and people”. The collection was demonstrated within the framework of Lviv Fashion Week. “Indigo” is her fourth collection.

Stella Shakhovskaya Fashion House

Fashion House “Stella Shakhovskaya” was founded in 2004 by talented young designer Ekaterina Shakhovskaya.

One of the main activities of the Fashion House is creation of children's dresses for solemn occasions. Dresses are presented in the exclusive version of “Stella Shakhovskaya” line, and in the prêt-a-porter deluxe “Solomia” category. In both cases, high quality of production remains invariable.

On December 5, 2009 Ekaterina Shakhovskaya presented children's collection of carnival costumes under the name “Skazochnaya strana” (Fairy land). The costumes were made in the style of “Stella Shakhovskaya” Fashion House. This means the use of natural fabrics - silk, chiffon, taffeta, abundance of handwork, complex embroidery and special attention to details.

Fashion House participates in international exhibitions and fashion - actions, is the holder of a diploma "For rapid growth in the field of wedding and evening fashion" (Moscow 2004).

In January 2009, Fashion House “Stella Shakhovskaya” launched a new line of clothing for special occasions in the pret-a-porter deluxe “Solomia” category and presented it at the Wedding Deluxe exhibition -salon (Kiev, April 2009).

In 2009, Ukrainian singer Ani Lorak became the face of the Fashion House. Ekaterina Shakhovskaya created a wedding dress for her.
