Let’s commemorate Jesus’ Baptism

Jesus’ baptism in the Jordan is one of the five major milestones in His life. In Eastern Christianity, it is commemorated on 19 January.

Ukrainians have long-lasting traditions of sanctification of water by priests and further taking an ice plunge by anyone who feels like it on this day. Sanctified water is believed to cleanse and heal.
